David Layman is a singer and acoustic guitarist from Marietta, Georgia. He plays a wide variety of music from classic rock and acoustic favorites to newer pop songs and everything in between. A huge Beatles fan from early on, he grew up playing in rock bands in coastal Georgia and in the Athens Georgia band scene. Upon moving to the Atlanta area, he began to play solo acoustic shows. He studied voice at the University of Georgia and has also sung with the Atlanta Opera.
