Laura Raffin is an Italian-Canadian vocalist from Toronto. She is a graduate of The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music, where she trained in classical voice, earning a Voice Performance Diploma and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance - With Distinction, in collaboration with Thompson Rivers University. Laura has over 20 years of experience performing at events such as fundraisers, charitable events, milestone birthdays, wedding ceremonies, receptions and more. Her stage experience includes operatic and musical productions such as Don Giovanni (GGS), The Magic Flute (SOLT), La Belle Hélène (GGS), The Cunning Little Vixen (GGS), The Merry Widow (Opera York) and Les Misérables (CCAA). Laura has received awards including the “Most Promising Young Singer Award” from NATS Ontario, Platinum and Gold Awards at the Kiwanis Music Festival, and the “Enrico Farina Borsa di Studio Award” from the Federazione Laziale dell’Ontario, among others. She values the opportunity to connect with audiences, always bringing passion and authenticity to her performances.
