Connor Konen Jazz Band from Bothell, WA

We call our act; The Two Freshmen The band includes me, Connor Konen as the pianist and singer and my fellow bass player and singer, Jake Darrow. We are mainly a Jazz Duo, however, we like to include some old pop tunes into our set lists such as some Bill Withers and Johny Cash tunes. A couple of the pop tunes we do that a lot of people like is 'Just the Two of Us,' and 'Use Me' by Bill Withers. As a jazz Duo, we like to include all of the famous standards such as Georgia On My Mind, Fly me to the moon, The Way You Look Tonight, Girl From Ipanema (with Brazilian lyrics sung by Connor Konen) and many more standards. We also like to bring our own twist into some of these tunes and share it with our audiences. We Do slow and relaxed cocktail jazz ballads, in addition to some upbeat tunes to light up the mood, depending on who we are playing for. We might also take a few song requests!
