Karen was Great!!!!! She called and inquired if she could arrive early. We agreed, and she did. she is personality personified. Her music is exactly what we wanted. She took one short break. but, actually played more than two hours. I could go on. But let me say she was just great in every way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't write enough to convey how absolutely amazing it was to work with Karen and her colleagues! From the time taken to meet with us; to truly understand our preferences, style, theme and unique characteristics of our venue and vision for the ceremony; to actually learning new music BY EAR; and then accompanying our guest artist before she enthralled our guests with a broad array of standards and styles during our reception; Karen was a true professional. She is warm, personable, attentive, responsive--not to mention a true talent in her own right. I would recommend Karen without hesitation for ANY event. She made our wedding truly magical and memorable.

Karen Michaels and her jazz group were an amazing addition to our wedding. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music were perfect. All of our guests enjoyed the music and kept asking how and where we found them. Even the owner of the venue, who was hesitant to let me bring in my own band, was very pleased and looks forward to having them perform there again.
Karen was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and through every step we were always on the same page.

My wife and I booked Karen and her group for our wedding reception and they were fantastic. Karen is a pleasure to work with and very professional, and she was available every step of the way from the initial booking through to the performance. I would recommend them to anyone. Our guests, who were coming from very diverse backgrounds, loved the music and stayed late into the evening to enjoy it. We got a lot of compliments and it made night truly memorable You will not be disappointed!
