RML Jazz has been entertaining audiences in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas since 2004. We specialize in an exciting mix of smooth jazz, modern jazz, updated standards, and R&B that offers something for everybody. RML Jazz performs from a trio up to a 7-piece group, with Ms. Laura Wiens on vocals, Mike Clancy on saxes/flute, Jeff Leonhardt on guitar, Glenn Utsch on keyboard, Gene Laus on trumpet/flugelhorn, Perry Pinto on bass, and Rick Laus on drums. We have played a variety of venues, including NOLA on the Square, Jackson's Restaurant, Refucilo Winery, Greendance Winery, Cioppino's Restaurant, James Street Gastropub, Greentree Park, South Side Works, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership events, Mellon Park, Carnegie Free Library, Collier Park, as well as the AFL-CIO Convention, private parties and weddings. RML Jazz serves up the jazz smooth and hot for ya', with tunes from Miles to Wes Montgomery, Billie Holiday to Bonnie Raitt, Grover Washington to George Benson, and many more. RML Jazz performs in Pittsburgh, Monroeville, South Side, Oakland, Braddock, North Shore, Mt. Pleasant, Shadyside, Cranberry, Strip District, New Stanton, Greensburg, Donegal, Mt. Lebanon, Greentree, Collier, Apollo, and Belle Vernon. We have also recorded 4 CDs: RML Jazz Family, RML Jazz Smooth and Hot!, RML Jazz Live!, and Keepin' Smooth and Hot!

RML Jazz put together a smooth concert for a formal dinner I was hosting. The band sounded fantastic and had an enchanting vocalist. Their depth of music selection covered jazz pieces from the 1930s to present day. It’s was a very cool set. And to top it off, they played all of the US Military Branch Anthems to help us honor our attending Veterans. RML is highly professional, highly talented and highly recommended!
