Jeffrey Powers' Hypno Party is an audience participation show that skillfully combines magic, mentalism, comedy, and genuine hypnosis. Everybody loves to discover the "magic" of their own subconscious mind...whether thinking they have eleven fingers, forgetting their own name, petting their shoe like a puppy, speaking in Martian, or believing I am their favorite rock star. Although participation in hypnosis shows is intended for teens and above, even the little ones love to use their imaginations, watch the silliness, and play along with their hypnotized older family members. So the Hypno Party is fun for audiences of all ages. Hypnosis is also the perfect framework for corporate presentations and keynotes on the topic of harnessing your inner power for business success. Clients describe my show as "mind blowing entertainment!", "great fun!", "highly recommended!", and "would definitely use him again!" Of course, I can do a straight magic act for children or adults as well. I began entertaining at children's parties when I was only ten years old. I became the most popular magic clown on Chicago's North Shore for many years before becoming a professional theater actor. I have hung up my red nose and floppy shoes. But I'm still just as silly when I perform for young kids. I also am an expert balloon animal twister. My show typically runs an hour, but can be as long as ninety minutes or as short as thirty minutes. I am self-contained, with my own performing table, and portable speaker/mixer for my microphone and sound effects when there is no house sound system. My fee will flex with the nature of the event, the size of the group, and the distance I have to travel.
