Some people have to work at being funny, but for me, "it's a natural gift.” Growing up watching comedians such as Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, and Martin Lawrence has inspired D Wissh to follow his dreams of becoming an actor/comedian.D Wissh decided to invest in his craft by taking a class with the legendary Michael Colyar who is also a mentor to Comedian D Wissh.D Wissh has also performed on stage more than once with his mentor, and multiple times on The Michael Colyar Morning Show.D Wissh has also performed at places such as The DPAC (Durham, NC) for multiple comedy shows and concerts with headliners Charlie Wilson and Arnez J to name a few, Koka Booth Amphitheatre (Cary, NC) as the host for a concert with headliner Teddy Riley and Blackstreet, Bojangles Coliseum (Charlotte, NC) and The Duke Energy Center (Charlotte, NC) as the opening act for the hit stage play Mommas Boy. D Wissh has also shared the stage with comedians such as Bruh Man (Martin Lawrence Show), Kountry Wayne, Barbara Carlyle, AJ Johnson (Ezel from the movie Friday) and was a feature act for the legendary Paul Mooney just to name a few . D Wissh has been the host for Spectacular Magazines Juneteenth Celebration for the past 4-5 years as well. D Wissh's motivation: “I believe I was put here on Earth to help people and heal people with laughter, so thats what I'm going to do.”
