Hot & Sour Comedy Stand Up Comedian from Bellevue, WA

After doing time in engineering for 26 years, raising 2 and half kids as a single mom, Ying quitted her job 2022 in Spokane and moved to Seattle 2023 to pursue standup comedy full time. Grew up in big city in Beijing China she settled into Spokane, WA. Absorbing culture shocks are her best comedy materials, and now she is adjusting to Seattle hard. The day she realized “comedy is a serious business” was when audiences in Spokane asked her back after she did a guest spot, then following her featured act, they demanded her back to headline in 2021. The rest is history. She has since produced/hosted 77 weekly shows in Pasco, produce/host 40+ monthly shows and headlined 30+ shows all over WA. She was voted audience’s favorite in Portland in 2019, in NYC 2020 and 2021 at several mic competitions. She has done the World Series of Comedy festival 3 years from 2022 to 2024. And NYC women’s festival 2023, NYC Big Apple festival 2022, etc. She has done corporate fund raising show, college, casino, clubs, bars etc shows, and is now specializing in retirement home shows since she moved to Seattle.
