We offer AUTHENTIC Caribbean Entertainment in the forms of, STEEL DRUM BANDS WITH OR WITHOUT VOCALS, ALL OUR MUSICIANS ARE AUTHENTIC CARIBBEAN MUSICIANS. OUR SAN DIEGO BASE STEEL DRUM PLAYER IS MY UNCLE GERALD/PAPA LAWRENCE, HE PLAYS, MAKES AND TUNES STEEL DRUMS, ALSO TEACHERS & ARRANGES STEEL DRUMS MUSIC. My company is Island Rhythms Production, I have performed in California for more than 40 years, My farther Raymond Lawrence,and his brothers Gerald/Papa,and Ken Lawrence were one first steel drum band in the USA they arrived in 1960 as the Trinidad Steel Drum Band, My farther was one of the top steel drum/'pan' as we call it, tunes when he left Trinidad. Our current Steel Drum/Pan players are My nephew's Christian & Elijah, Marlon Alegria & Grantly Moreau .We provide Authentic Caribbean Entertainment in the forms of Steel Drum and Reggae bands Also Fire Limbo Dances, Stick Walkers & DJ"s. Our Steel Drum Band has traveled and tour through sixteen Countries. Our Reggae band members have performed with some of the reggae greats; Eek-A-Mouse,Ras Michael, Buju Banton, Poto Banton. We have made Three tours for the US Troops to Camp Fallujah, Iraq and also in Bosnia and Kosovo our most recent February 2010. We can also provide dancers performing Fire Eating Limbo and more.
