We hired Paul to play the cocktail hour (and a half) for our backyard elopement celebration. We wanted to set a Caribbean vibe as my wife’s family is Jamaican and we would be having other music later in the evening. As a vendor on the Bash for 18+ years myself, I found Paul to be highly professional, accommodating and talented. Our totally non traditional “not a wedding” was perfect from start to finish and LI Steel Drum was exactly what we needed to jump start things and set the relaxing g casual vibe we were looking for. Tons of compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend LI Steel Drum for any event looking for that cool Caribbean vibe !!!

Paul was super helpful and responsive from my initial contact with him. He provided his insurance the day he was asked, he asked us for music requests prior to the event, he came early and set up. He made this effortless for me and he was truly amazing!!! Extremely talented. My guests loved him. I would highly recommend Paul. His price point was also very affordable and very honest. I threw my wife a 40th birthday party on 7/16/2023 at North Tavern in Wading River. I was going to get a DJ but I did not want someone talking or the typical party music. I searched for live music on Long Island. I came across the L.I Steel Drum Band. I loved that it was so different then everything else. The day of the party it was pouring raining. I was so upset. Well when the band started to play, we felt like we were on vacation. They were AWESOME!!! So nice, so talented! I highly recommend anyone to book them for any occasion.
