Had Rum and Steel perform for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were so easy to work with from the beginning. Accommodated my every request and very professional. They played acoustically for the ceremony and as I was walking down the aisle it took my breath away! Although we missed them perform at the cocktail hour due to photographs, all my guests had nothing but great things to say! I would recommend them highly for any type of event!

We had a crazy humid party day and no one wanted to go outside the house where R&S we're playing until the meal was served. Once outside we couldn't get enough of their amazing sound. They were teriffic. Just a small suggestion , when arriving at a gig, they should seek out the person who hired them and introduce themselves. I never met Jon. It would have been nice to meet the man behind the contact emails and texts. But really, super accommodating , great play list, no hassles, will book again for sure.

Thanks for a fun day. It was super hot and humid but your home and property were both amazing. Great spot under the trees for shade and a nice bench in the shade during our break.
Hope our version of "Freedom" by Ritchie Havens was what you had requested. He uses some funky guitar tunings on his songs so it can be hard sometimes to transfer his songs over to steel drums.

Jon with Rum and Steel was incredibly easy to work with during the pre-planning phases and they came prepared and set-up early and flawlessly. The music was just what we were looking for and the entire party was complimenting the band. We were going for a tropical/cruise feeling and they nailed it for us! We will definitely we recommending them for future events!

Rum & Steel played a 2 hour "cocktail time" at our wedding reception by the beach (~200 guests). Jon was very easy to work with. After booking 10 months prior, he reached out 4 months in advance to go through all the details which meant we had one less thing to worry about on the big day. The month leading up to a wedding is busier than you'd expect.
Their music kicked off the party and put all of our guests in a great mood. Don't let their very affordable rate fool you, the music it top notch. We're already thinking of excuses to book them again. We couldn't have been any more satisfied.
Don't hesitate to book these guys.
