Apperson Strings is a top notch group of amazing musicians. We hired them for a star studded luxury broker open party and photoshoot event and they were awesome. Everyone showed up in Tuxedos and blended in well to the black tie event and they played all throughout the evening and added a real elegance to the event that no band or PA system could have delivered. They played Classic standards and can also play some modern stuff and even played some great Beatles classics. The party goers loved them and I would have Apperson strings play at my next event. No brainer.

Jim was extremely accommodating in regards to the ceremony and last minute preparation. My only issue would be that the players you hear in the demo songs may not be the same that play at your ceremony, as Jim has a list of folks who play for him. They did a wonderful job making sure that the song they played during the walk ceremony was extended to accommodate for the time it took for my bride to arrive to the main aisle (it was outdoors). The part of the song I wanted played when she finally arrived to the aisle was played the moment it needed to be played, so that was wonderful! I rated 3.5 stars for talent since they could not play pieces with violin solos.

I thought they were very professional. My uncle loved classical music and the opera. He even traveled to Milan to see the 0pera. He would also go to San Francisco. They played a variety of classical music. After the performance people came up to me telling me how much they enjoyed it

Apperson Strings provided the music for our wedding ceremony on March 16, 2019. The four-string quartet played beautifully and were able to honor our special requests for music. The lead artist, Jim Apperson, handled all of the administrative details for us from day one with total grace and professionalism. We cannot reccomend them more highly and are so happy we went with Apperson for our special day.

They were wonderful to deal with and very talented but very hard to hear unless you were very close. Hearing the music is kind of the point.
