These guys were fantastic. I received many compliments for their performance. If you can afford their service (which is reasonable for live music), they really bump a wedding ceremony and/or cocktail hour (or any formal event for that matter) up to a whole new level. Good live music sets a vibe that you just can't get from a DJ. I would recommend them highly and will hire them again in a second if I needed someone to play strings in the Philadelphia area.

I love, love, love Elegant String Quartet! They are amazing and the music that they play is just simply wonderful! They are great for religious weddings and they give you exactly what you want. They took all my nerves away and made the atmosphere of my wedding ceremony amazing! My wedding was a blessing to all my guest because of them. My guest can't stop talking about them and neither can I. They made my wedding ceremony a wonderful and beautiful experience. They are respectful, professional, and very accommodating. I would definitely hire them again!

Ray and team are extremely talented and I am so happy I booked them for my wedding. I was nervous because we hadn't rehearsed a thing but they are so professional; definitely impressed us and our wedding guests! Excellent performance. Very accommodating in playing our choice of music, including some choices that are not normally played by string quartets. Good communication and liaison prior to event.

The Elegance String Quartet was overall wonderful! They accommodated all of our musical requests, arrived on time and played beautifully. Then ONLY reason I did not give them 5 stars was because of how they ended the two processional pieces. Each processional piece needed to be ended early and the quartet never cadenced correctly or ended together on a resolved chord. That is an important thing for a professional quartet to be able to do in a wedding situation when you don't ever really know when a processional will end because of how fast a wedding party will walk. Other than that one thing, everything was simply beautiful. Their talent is unquestionable.

As a professional string quartet we completely understand the importance of ending a piece beautifully, and we always try to make a smooth cadence whenever we have to cut a piece short. For this particular event, the only reason I can give for ending a little abruptly was that the person assigned to que us ran up to where we were playing and signaled urgently to stop and change the music. We apologize for the unpleasant experience but it was due to a miss-communication between us and the person trying to help coordinate. This is definitely not our professional standard and we always aim to play at the highest level.
