We hired NOVA Strings for our daughter’s pared down wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the last minute arrangements (wedding moved from Charleston, SC in November to DC in July), Eli from NOVA Strings was a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent and all the accommodations our daughter requested were met with a “yes we can!” attitude. The day was perfect with NOVA Strings showing up on time and ready to play. They played beautifully and added just the right atmosphere to the wedding ceremony. I can personally highly recommend NOVA Strings for your next event!
Founded in 2020, Nova Strings is a group of professional musicians who collaborate to provide music for weddings and special events. We are a customer oriented-company and work hard to serve our clients, from the first contact (we like a good old-fashioned phone call), to the last note we play.

You've heard the stories: the groom forgot his ring, the limo is an hour late, a storm shows up on what was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day…you want someone who is prepared and can change plans on a dime!

We play all the good traditional stuff, have a growing repertoire of pop music, and are always on the lookout for a good arrangement!
