Meet Your Musicians: Violinist, Ray Reinebach, has enjoyed a diverse career in the music entertainment industry, performing and recording a vast array of styles as a soloist, orchestral player, and studio musician on stage, screen, and in the studio. Ray has appeared alongside 17-time Grammy, and 5-time Oscar winning film composers John Williams, and has recorded scores at studios such as Fox, Paramount, the WB, and Capital Records, and is Alumni of the Henry Mancini Institute. In the pop music scene, he has shared the stage with Natalie Cole, Vince Gill, Pink Martini, Michael McDonald, Jason Mraz, P. Diddy, Nikki Minaj, T.I., Michael McLaughlin, Marvin Hamlisch, Dishwalla, Googoosh, Marco Antonio Solis, Gloria Trevi, Conrad Sewell, Gliss, and the cast of Glee. Onscreen he has appeared in shows such as the New Girl, Glee, Strong Medicine, and Bridalplasty, music videos with Mary J. Blige and Mario Winans, as well as the film Post Grad. As a classically trained musician, he has performed with such esteemed conductors as Michael Tilson Thomas and Kent Nagano, as well as renowned performers Sarah Chang, James Galway, and Vadim Repin, among others. He has been concertmaster of the Los Angeles Chamber Choir Orchestra, Debut Orchestra, UCLA Philharmonia, Golden State Pops Orchestra, CSUN studio orchestra, and CSUN symphony in venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Royce Hall, and Alex Theater. --------------------------- French violinist, Ambroise Aubrun, has been described as a performer with a “marvelous ease, suppleness and beauty of sound” (A. Busser, Nice-Matin). Since his recital debut at age 14, Ambroise has gone on to win numerous awards including 1st Prize at the Vatelot Competition, Mouans-Sartoux Competition, Atwater Kent Concerto Competition, and is winner of the Fondation de France's Charles Oulmont Prize. Aubrun began his musical studies at age 4 at the Nice Conservatory where he obtained First Prize Magna cum Laude in Violin performance with Daniel Lagarde and Jean-Claude Abraham, and First Prize in Chamber Music and Baroque Music. The following year, he was admitted to the Paris National Superior Conservatory where he studied with Roland Daugareil and Serge Pataud and went on to graduate at the age of 19. Aubrun then obtained his Master's and Doctorate degrees from UCLA under Professor Guillaume Sutre, as well as his Artist Diploma from the Colburn Conservatory of Music with Martin Beaver. He is currently a guest lecturer at UCLA and teaches at the French Conservatory of Music in Beverly Hills. --------------------------------- Violist, Evan Antes, recently completed the Professional Studies Certificate program at the Colburn School in Los Angeles. His past teachers include Paul Coletti, Jeffrey Irvine, Lynne Ramsey, and Heidi Castleman. He has participated in numerous festivals including the Sarasota Music Festival, The Perlman Music Program, and The New York String Orchestra Seminar. ------------------------------------- Armenian cellist, Vardan Gasparyan, has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Armenia, United States, Canada and Germany at venues including Carnegie Hall, Alex Theatre, Glenn Gould Studio, Armenian Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre and Salle Claude- Champagne, receiving high praise and performing to sold out audiences. Gasparyan's performances have been broadcast on Armenian National Radio, Los Angeles County Museum of Art's “Sundays Live” and Chicago's WFMT Radio. At age 16 Gasparyan made his debut with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and has gone on to win prizes at several competitions including the Schmidbauer International Competition, Carmel Music competition, Emin Khachaturian Young Artists competition, and received the “Performing Arts Prize” at the Fine Arts Club of Pasadena. Classically trained but a versatile performer, Vardan has collaborated with renowned artists such as Arnold Steinhardt, Ani and Aida Kavafians, Daniel Hope, Paul Coletti, the Ébène Quartet, Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams and Tyler “The Creator”, and appeared in the featured film “HERE” (an Official Selection at the Sundance Film Festival ). Vardan received his Bachelor's degree from Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory studying with renowned cellist, conductor, and former member of “Komitas” String Quartet Aram Talalyan, and went on to earn a Master of Music degree from The Colburn School Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, California where he studied with Ronald Leonard.
