Quartetto Solo was fabulous! He played a great variety of compositions and my guests were delighted. He is an excellent violinist, and highlighted the classical music theme preferred and requested by the guest of honor. Guest of honor is a retired music teacher, composer and pianist in his own right and Adrian wow’d him with his talent! I need to have another party or event soon so I get an opportunity to hear Quartetto Solo again! Just wonderful!!!!

Adrian was PHENOMENAL. He is incredibly talented and very professional. I was being a bratty bride and wanted to change the ceremony songs 5 days before my wedding. Adrian was able to get the sheet music and perfect the song in such a short amount of time. His beautiful music set the tone for my ceremony and made it absolutely magical. I would recommend him to anyone for any type of event. In fact, after hearing him play, my friend now wants him to play at her August wedding. Thank you Quartetto Solo (Adrian), you’re the best!

I’ve hired Adrian of Quartetto Solo for hundreds of weddings and events over the last fourteen years. He is an excellent violinist and our clients have always had nothing but great things to say about him. Adrian is a true professional, and knows what it takes to make an event run smoothly. He is my first choice when booking a violinist for weddings or any other event, and he is a real asset to the String Theory Chamber Ensemble. Adrian is such a great performer as well as a person. He was so easy to work with and so good. He did background music for a pre-wedding cocktail party. He was perfect because he elevated the event. He was a touch of class without drawing any attention away from the celebration. We will definitely book him again.

Adrian was fabulous, so easy to work with, and thoroughly prepared for the event, he came in, set up, and played. Our event ran a little past the scheduled end time but I told him he didn't need to stay on. He was packed up and out the door and I don't think anyone but I saw his departure.
In terms of music, it was perfect. A lovely sound and mix of songs complemented my event and his Pachelbel Canon (one of my favorite pieces and a special request) was superb.
I wish I booked more events in town because I'd love to hear Quartetto Solo play more often.

Professional, punctual, and personable, Adrian provided a unique listening experience as a one-man quartet, blending his live violin with an electronic accompaniment. The classical melodies added a touch of elegance to our event, while the contemporary tunes provided a playfulness and sense of familiarity among our guests. It was light listening, helping create a calm atmosphere for those in attendance. All our guests were complimentary of his work, and there would be no hesitation to hire him again for a future occasion, especially given his easy-going persona and demeanor. It was a real pleasure to have him be a part of our outdoor event; simply fantastic!

Used Quartetto Solo for my wedding in downtown Chicago. Originally found him thru a wedding gig site, and selected him based off of a list of songs in his repertoire that coincidentally mostly followed what I was hoping to hear and honestly because of the fantastic price point compared to a full string quartet.
Ended up loving the service even more, as Quartetto was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and reliable on the day of. The pieces sounded absolutely fantastic
Songs outside of his repertoire are $25 extra per piece to learn was the only drawback

Quartetto Solo is very talented in his musical abilities. He was harder to work with in the planning for the wedding. He does not provide his own preferred shade for outdoor events and requests you to purchase a tent and be able to move it for him throughout the event as the sun moves throughout the day if the event is outdoors at all. He does not provide his own extension cords for outdoor music either. I would only recommend for indoor events unless you are willing to purchase extras to accommodate him. Professionally, I think he should have those items to be prepared for any event or not accept outdoor venues.

Hello Erica. I am happy that you enjoyed my music, that is always the goal. Thank you for the constructive criticism. It has been over a year between your wedding and leaving your review, so I had to look back on my notes. I am always upfront with my clients about my needs during the booking process, which is why those provisions for shade and easy access to electricity are in my brief contract. Many musicians require shade as direct sunlight makes their music tablets impossible to view, plus it can damage fine wooden instruments like the violin. When there is a tent or covering, I move my equipment under the tent to keep in the shade. I would never need someone to move a tent for me :) I carry a 25ft extension cord, not over a 100ft... nor my own tent. That would be unreasonable to expect from a solo musician. In any case, your wedding ended up being held indoors, so I guess these are moot points. Thank you again for the opportunity, and I wish you all the best in your new marriage.
