The trio was early to the gig, stayed a few extra minutes, played everything requested wonderfully, never in any way interfered with the event. The sound was clearly live as opposed to recorded music. They were exceptionally professional. I wouldn't look anywhere else. The scale only allows a five. I'd give them a ten!

Vivace were a pleasure to work with. In preparation, they communicated clearly and promptly, and in performance, they were everything I had hoped for. I had a special request for a favorite Mozart piece that they did a lovely job with. They clearly enjoyed their work, playing together, and playing for us and our guests. Musically, they blended well and definitely listened to each other, and their sound was quite lovely, for us and our neighbors. They were totally professional as far as arriving and starting on time and being responsive to the audience. I'd be happy to hear them again any time.

I was told that Vivace would not sit in the designated area. Because they were to play for both the ceremony and cocktail hour we wanted them centrally located between the two spots. They refused to sit in the sun and wanted to play in a spot right next to the isle that would be in the way of not only pictures, but the entire ceremony. After a long discussion between Vivace and my mother, who had better things to do on her daughter's wedding day than to argue with the musicians, it was decided that they would move to the pre-designated area. We were all very happy with their overall performance, but we were dissapointed and frustrated by their attitudes.

There is a clause in the contract that specifically says we cannot be seated in full sun (because the wood in the instruments is susceptible to cracking). The venue personnel were very kind in finding us an alternative place to play the ceremony. After the ceremony, the sun would be low enough for us to move to the area that the client requested. However, the client was not happy with this arrangement, and after suggesting several alternatives and realizing the client would be happy with no alternative, we moved into the sunny area.

How beautiful a day can be, when kindness touches it! My wedding was a same sex marriage so on my first conversation with Cheryl I made sure to tell her, just in case... which wasn't an issue. She was very,very, very professional and arrived early. Very accommodating to my music request even at my last minute selections. Very talented group, played with such emotion which made it even more amazing!!! My guest were very touched. I would highly recommend to friends, co-workers for sure! Thank you so much Cheryl!!!!

Anyone considering a string quartet should definitely consider hiring the Vivace team. Cheryl, who managed our interaction, was very professional, easy to work with, and very willing to offer ideas to my daughter for her wedding. My daughter did not want the "common" wedding music; she wanted some nice but different options. Cheryl worked with her to select music we all thought was lovely, and well very well executed. The team showed up on time (a few early) for the wedding, and with almost no direction, figured out when to start and quickly but professionally close out the music for one song and switch to the next one. We strongly recommend this team!

They played so beautifully at our wedding. Extremely professional and very talented. The whole process was effortless. The atmosphere their music created for the ceremony just can't be reproduced with recorded music. Well, well worth the cost.

Can I give Vivace Strings more stars? I scheduled them to perform at my sister's wedding and they were very responsive from the very beginning. I even asked them to learn all new, modern songs and they accommodated that request as long as I paid for the sheet music. They sounded AMAZING at my sister's wedding, it really added a magical element to the ceremony. Someone told me later they observed mice running around at their feet outside where the ceremony was and they just played on without letting on! If I could give them more stars I would, highly recommend.
