The vocal and trumpet stylings of bandleader Jeremy Shrader, along with his wife Michelle (singer/guitarist), are showcased in many variations of groups ranging from solo to his 16-piece big band, The New Memphis Hepcats. From our home base in Memphis, TN, we have thrilled thousands of guests from Little Rock, AR to Washington, D.C, and points in-between. We specialize in swing, jazz, and American popular standards from the 1920s-60s. Our entertaining and refined ensembles are popular with people of all ages and walks of life. All of our musicians are trained and experienced professionals, most of which are degreed in music - up to the doctoral level. Members of our groups have shared the stage with world famous musicians from Memphis and around the globe. A great number of the musicians are also educators in the local public, private, and university systems. Our goal is to provide high-quality entertainment, combined with professional service and unparalleled value. Shrader also provides trumpet interludes and lively conversation. Solo performance and combos from two to seven pieces are available. Jeremy and Michelle Husband and wife duo will bring the love to your next event. :: Jeremy sings and plays trumpet with his wife, Michelle (classical guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter), performing an array of styles and songs ranging from jazz standards, pop, and classical, to original compositions. They are also available with their jazz combos, from three to eight pieces. Hot Jazz Combos If you want a lively, Creole style party, then you need the Dixieland swing of this band. :: The sound of Louis Armstrong ,“The Great Gatsby,” and the Roaring 20's 'Hot Jazz'. Three horns, banjo, piano, tuba, and drums provide an authentic sound and their repertoire of swinging tunes will keep your guests of all ages smiling. This group is available in many configurations, from two to eight pieces. Jeremy Shrader's Octocats All the elegance and style of a big band, but on a smaller scale. :: This band has four horns and a driving rhythm section, like the classic Hollywood wedding band. This is a smaller version of our popular big band, playing many of the same songs. This is great music for dancing and for delighting your guests. Brass Band Brass, boogie, and blues! :: Memphis' only brass band, our music bridges the gap between Memphis, New Orleans, and beyond. Performing traditional brass band, dixieland, and other great party sounds, this high energy band is available for weddings, funerals, and everything in-between. Five to nine piece ensembles are available. Big Barton Classic country and western from the golden age of WSM radio. :: The songs of Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash, and Pasty Cline bring an authentic southern charm to any event.
