We had the Classic Swing Band come play at a community grand opening and they were the icing on the cake of the event! We did a Mardi Gras theme and the Classic Swing Band played the perfect songs. They were so professional and talented. It was a joy to work with them! We look forward to hiring them for future events.

This amazing group of musicians made our daughter’s wedding reception in Garvan Woodland Gardens in Arkansas a classy and incredibly fun event. Everyone kept asking where they were from because they were so impressive. Tom was so easy to work with and they even let our friend sing the first dance song. I really want to have another party just so I can hear them play some more. If you like music from the swing band era, this is your group!

They responded very quickly to the initial inquiry. They customized their sets to accommodate our timeline, kept in touch in the weeks prior to the event, arrived on time, set up quickly and were very professional. They have a wonderful selection of songs that span several decades and are very talented. I would highly recommend them.

The Classic Swing Band has been playing our event, the Ellis County Veterans Ceremony, for the last 12 years. We consider them a fixture of our program. They always come through for us with a crowd pleasing performance with such songs as "Sentimental Journey", "Home", "Mustang Sally", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Beyond the Sea", "Fly Me To The Moon", "Moon Glow", "In The Mood", "Moonlight Serenade", "String Of Pearls" and many more. The are a very professional classy bunch of great guys that love our veterans. This past Saturday at our veterans celebration they performed for 1000 people, veterans and their families and I have never heard anything but praise for them.

The Classic Swing Band was a pleasure to work with during planning and throughout the event. They were exactly what I was looking for and did a great job accomodating my song choice requests. I also appreciated that they were prepared with their song list ahead of time so that the transisiton between songs was quick and easy. I would hire them again!

The audience loved the Classic Swing Band and requested them again for next.
The only thing I would change would be for the band to play softer (as requested) during the dinner, so our guests could talk among themselves.

As far as playing softer.....we were not aware of any problems.
As you remember, the sound was being handled by a sound team which was a 3rd party.
We would have been happy to notify them to turn us down had someone told us.
The only thing we could hear were our monitors on stage.
