D’Jazz is a funky horn band that brings a unique blend of Modern Jazz, R&B, and Soul in to a fine point. D’Jazz literally means “of Jazz” and they play an instrumental style with dynamics and presence. Live, D’Jazz plays a wide range of songs from hip, updated versions of Miles and Coltrane to George Benson, Sade, Marvin Gaye, Aretha, Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones. D’Jazz has been carried on radio stations in Dallas-Ft Worth, Hartford, CT, Europe, Canada, and Indonesia. D’Jazz regularly plays in around the DFW area at clubs, restaurants, corporate functions, and society dates, as well as festivals and shows unknown and adventurous. Whether it's a quiet dinner with jazz standards, a raucous happening club, or something in between; D'Jazz can cover it. Consisting of some of the finest musicians Dallas-Ft Worth (and the famed University of North Texas College of Music) has to offer. D'Jazz is a professional, experienced band. Don't waste your time with amateurs, we've been doing this a long time and have pretty much seen it all. From the left-side of Jazz - you gotta check out this band!
