The Tom Daugherty Swingin' Sounds Orchestra was amazing, exceeded all of our expectations! They were very professional and the music was spectacular! The Tom Daughterty Orchestra made our father's 87th birthday a night we will never forget. We cannot stay enough about the impact they made on the evening.....they were first class, ....A #1....top of the heap!!!!! If we could we would give them 10 stars!

The Tom Daugherty Swingin' Sounds Orchestra was exceptional. I think back and remember how I looked over all of their reviews wondering if we would say the same things in the end. Well, here we are with another wonderful review. Everyone at our wedding said the band made the night so special and fun. It was music that every generation got up to dance to. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you all for making our wedding celebration that much more special.

We recently (June 18, 2011) had the Tom Daugherty Orchestra perform at our daughter's wedding reception. We had numerous compliments on the music, their professionalism, and their willingness to work with us. They provided background music during dinner, helped with announcements, and did a tremendous show during the dancing/celebration part of the wedding. Of all of our vendors, Tom's group was the best/easiest to work with. I highly recommend them for your function!!

from my initial contact with the orchestra leader more than a year
before my event, to the big evening itself, there were no glitches.
all went as planned. i had nothing to do regarding the music, except
to enjoy it. i would not hesitate to recommend this group of musicians, and would certainly call on them again if the need arises.

We can't believe how great this group was! They were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I haven't talked with one of my guests yet that hasn't had to rave about our band! "The food was good, the cake was cute but oh your band!" They were just perfect. Anyone who thinks they should cut costs on entertainment is crazy - it makes the party and will be as long remembered as anything. We spent the night at Holiday Inn & a wedding reception was going on with a DJ - pitiful by comparison. We are so glad we chose this group. We would do it again and will do it again for future events. The selection, sound and energy was just superb. Thanks again - well done.

Fantastic group for both young and old! Throughout our reception I received more compliments on the band than I could count and certainly more than any other single aspect of the event. Some of my relatives in attendance told me that they hadn't heard a sound like that in 30 years while our friends (mostly in their 20s) wouldn't stop dancing. Great Group!

One of the trombone players actually knew Glen Miller and played in his band as a young man. After the death of Glen Miller, he took over as the band leader for many years. Because of his first hand knowledge of Glen Miller's music, I believe this has influenced the quality of the band performance. This concert was perfect in tone, and the pure, blended sounds from the musicians were absolutely amazing. It was the best "big band" concert I have ever heard.

When you hear the phrase "The band makes the party" it couldn't have been more true than when applied to the Tom Daugherty Orchestra. Their Big Band Swing sound made a very special event even more memorable.
They were professional, accomodating, flexible and FUN. They are incredibly talented and left us all in awe. They have a song list a mile long. They are the "complete package" with great musicians and vocalists.
Thank you Tom Daugherty Orchestra...you made the night a night to remember.
