About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Our basic style is 'smooth jazz' which incorporates a romantic touch into standard and new songs, but we also play traditional jazz and are well known in New Orleans for our original style. We have played in jazz festivals all over the world and were recently featured in a Sesame Street production. We have never counted the total number of songs that we play, but the partial list we send out contains over 1,400 numbers. We play 80-100 weddings a year as, to the best of our knowledge, we are the only band in New Orleans that can provide music for all aspects of weddings: ceremonies (including church organ with brass), receptions, rehearsal parties, second lines, streetcar rides, Jewish weddings, Italian etc. We were named best wedding band by New Orleans Magazine.

Anniversary Party•Reviewed on April 12, 2023•From New Orleans, LA

Dr. Jazz and his colleagues were wonderful. Their music was great. They thoughtfully tailored their music to our requests and to our three generation family. It was special that they allowed our 10 year old granddaughter play “The Saints Come Marching In” on their keyboard with them.

Corporate Function•Reviewed on July 24, 2019•From New Orleans, LA

I was having a Conference in New Orleans at the Sheraton Hotel and wanted to have a nice Jazz group. Found a Fantastic group of guys. They really made our event the event I wanted it to be. They are very professional and the music was AWSOME. Everyone enjoyed it. My attendees were coming up to me saying “Those guys are great’. I am so glad I booked them for our event.
