The Jackson All-Stars Variety Band from Jackson, MS

The Jackson All-Stars is a professional variety band based in Jackson, Mississippi. Featuring a distinctive New Orleans influence and horns, the group packs quite a punch, specializing in a variety of musical styles including Jazz, Swing, Latin, Dixieland, Brass Band, and Party Rock. Add to this mix the group's unique chemistry and the result is an exciting live performance! A traditional New Orleans style BRASS BAND, 10-piece SWING BAND and a 17-piece BIG BAND are also available. The band is available for local clubs, fairs, festivals, wedding receptions, dances, casinos, award banquets, university and corporate parties, conventions, and other functions. The price of a performance is flexible and negotiable, depending on size of band needed, accomodations, and style of music you require. Our prices reflect personnel and time for equipment setup, take-down, and any other preparation needed before the performance. The musicians are some of the best that Jackson and the surrounding area have to offer. The band also occasionally incorporates special guest artists straight out of the Big Easy (New Orleans) to add a little extra spice to your event. Realizing your event may require music in many different styles, we can recommend the best fit for your event. One size does not fit all. The larger the band configuration, the more styles of music that can be performed and the greater audience appeal. Rest assured, our musicians are professionals and can handle all your music requirements. DJ services are also available. We will do what it takes to work with you and for you. We want your business! The band was recently presented Richland, Mississippi's "Key to the City" for bringing jazz and Dixieland to their city. David Schommer, bandleader, was named a 2010 Outstanding Educator by the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson and a 2011 Metro Jackson "Teacher of the Year" by the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership.
