Ella Cristina Variety Singer from New Fairfield, CT

Ella Cristina began singing in church from early on. She took great delight not only in singing but the lyrics of what she was singing about. She started her vocal training at Onondaga Community College with the professor of music, Jean Loftus. Ella Cristina studied voice privately with vocal coach, Chorus Master, and Assistant Conductor of Syracuse Opera, Nancy James. “Nancy had an influence and a huge impact on me by encouraging me to pursue my singing dreams and to turn them into reality!” After moving close to New York City, she began vocal instruction with the gifted and talented Master Teacher, Nina Murano. Not only did Nina teach her about acting and stage presence, she also became a close friend and mentor. Ella Cristina also studied with the popular broadway singer Adina Mezel’s vocal coach,Tania Travers. Tania prepared Ella Cristina for the singing audition process in the Big Apple. She landed her first role in Les Miserable as part of the chorus line. Multiple roles had started falling in her lap. Ella Cristina sings in multiple languages; English, Italian and Spanish. In 2012, a musician friend introduced her to John Micalizzi, founder and band leader of Oasis Music, Lodi, NJ. Beginning in 2013, Ella Cristina has been the Lead Vocalist and the Master of Ceremonies for all their significant events. She is a talented, versatile, and a well rounded performer. Her smile and gifted voice lights up the stage! Ella Cristina was recently awarded 3rd place at the “Festival of Song USA” singing competition in Great Neck, NY. Ella Cristina looks forward in continuing her singing that brought her into direct contact with some great singers that have not only enlightened her but have given her perpetual inspiration!! Not only does she sing and MC at weddings, festivals, high-end functions and special events, she also DJs as well!
