Barbara Jean, former Miss Michigan, is a professional entertainer, using her ventriloquism, comedy and music to help people laugh and enjoy life. Her talent and personality are an asset to any occasion as she proved to be the busiest Miss Michigan ever, appearing some 200 times in her year as Michigan's representative to the Miss America Pageant. Barbara Jean's performances include conventions, banquets, fairs, schools, corporate meetings, churches, and many other festivities. Her skills have earned many honors including area and national contests, with the most memorable being a talent winner at the Miss America Pageant. She has performed nationwide and has also enjoyed the privilege of performing in the Bahamas, Scotland, Canada and Japan. Barbara Jean has been performing professionally for over thirty years.
