Shane was very easy to communicate with prior to our companies holiday party. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. He was on time to the party and had some amazing music going right away. He definitely got the party started off right. Also, lets not forget to mention the amazingly affordable prices! We highly recommend Shane and DJ Flux for your next event! You ROCK Shane!

Shane was a great DJ for our formal Valentines party. We had a mixed crowd of ages from 20s to 60s. He had a great set as people were arriving and mingling with softer tunes. As the evening progressed, he was able to switch to dance music and get the crowd going. He played a great mix including some special requests we had. Shane was easy to communicate with and arrived three hours before guests to setup. Overall he was perfect for our event and I look forward to hiring again for future events.

Can't say enough about Flux VJ. He is awesome. Our event was virtual. Flux pre-recorded two sets - one Hip Hop and one LatinX. He not only selected fun music but also put it to videos. He also did shout outs during the sets as we requested. He also took the time to put together a video montage of images that were relevant to our event. He was always responsive and accommodating when I had a question or request. Lots of feedback from people who attended that he was great. He made our event fun and engaging. I can't say enough about him. He is amazing. Thank you Flux VJ!!

Flux VJ (Shane) was amazing! We booked him a bit late (3 weeks before our wedding) and was impressed the second I met him. He has a knack for detail, is talented at reading the room, and provided customized touches to the event that impressed us and our guests. He took my request for limbo seriously by crafting a limbo stick and had a logo with our initials on the screen. These were fun surprises when we arrived to our reception. Since most wedding details are hyper-planned, I felt relief in trusting Shane with the audio and visual. What a wonderful job he did! I will definitely be recommending Flux VJ to all my friends planning weddings.

10/5 would recommend Flux VJ (Shane) for your next event! We hired him several months before COVID impacted our wedding plans (~100 guests to ~25) and despite having a much smaller crowd we still had people on the dance floor all. night. long! Partial credit to the open bar, of course, but there would be no dancing without an awesome MC and Shane delivered without a hitch. We definitely deviated from our original timeline of events and he was 100% accommodating and also happy to play song requests. He also helped us beforehand by providing input on our timeline and coordinating directly with our venue which saved us lots of time. Thank you!

Flux VJ was awesome! We had an 80s themed party and he had a great playlist with fantastic videos, some music videos and some clips from iconic 80s movies. He had everything ready to go when guests arrived, incorporated everyone's requests, and was playing music and videos until the last guest left. Would definitely use him for any other VJ/DJ needs!

Incredible value for the cost. He made awesome themed graphics for my birthday and set a fabulous mood for the night. People were dancing for hours. I also asked him to throw in a little swing and salsa and he picked fantastic songs and wore them into the set so seamlessly. I won’t go anywhere else for DJ in the future. Thank you for making my birthday so special!

It was such a pleasure to work with Flux VJ (Shane). He was very easy to work with and very accommodating. My request was to have Hawaiian music played during the dinner portion of the night and he went above and beyond by researching the genre he was unfamiliar with. The Hawaiian music played was exactly what we were looking for. We also loved the large video screen which we were able to utilize for our personal video slideshow. I was not satisfied at all with the music selection. I requested current music, mixed with music from other decades. Flux VJ was stuck in the 90's and not in a good way. I left the party and went to bed at about 11 pm, and I'm not sure the music got that much better.

I'm shocked that was your impression of the night. I showed up with a balanced playlist with the hits from every decade from the 60s on that people love to dance to from other events I do. Then the majority of music I played was requests from the attendees. I have the record of what music I played and only played a few 90s songs and most of those were specific requests. I could have ignored requests, but typically only do that when I'm firmly told to. A lot of people danced all night and were happy to hear their requests.
