Some of the international places she has lived in and traveled to include France, Sweden, Japan, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Italy, Denmark, and England. She studied with the Suzuki program and private teachers, including Paul Stein from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and she was a first violinist for the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies Orchestra in Minnesota for ten years. She continued her musical studies at George Washington University in Washington, DC while also studying French and English Literature, and performed as a professional string trio during all four years. She was also the featured violinist at George Washington University Alumni Association's Featured Solo Musician's Concert.
