KeyReel Raskolenko is a professional violinist and fiddler with nearly 30 years of performing experience and a remarkably versatile musical background. He is also a member of KeyPrime Strings (formerly KeyReel Music), providing professional string music for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and other special occasions throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and beyond. KeyReel performs across a wide range of styles, including Classical, Gypsy Jazz and Swing, Celtic traditional music (Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton), Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Funk. His extensive experience includes orchestral and chamber music performances, as well as work with jazz and Celtic ensembles throughout the DFW area. What sets KeyReel apart is not simply versatility, but a deep understanding of the musical language behind each style. Whether performing an Irish fiddle tune, a classical work, a jazz standard, or a modern Pop or Rock arrangement, he approaches the music with the appropriate technique, sound, phrasing, and character. Several performance setups are available depending on the event. KeyReel can perform on acoustic violin with professional backing tracks and compact amplification, or on electric violin with effects and custom sounds particularly suited to Pop, Rock, Funk, and Jazz. His setup can also be completely battery-powered, allowing performances in locations where access to electricity is limited or unavailable. KeyReel is available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, birthdays, receptions, festivals, and other special occasions. Performances can be booked as a solo violin/fiddle act or, through KeyPrime Strings, with additional professional musicians for larger ensemble options.
