Classical and Electric Violinist available for your special event! Kristen Monnik is a classically trained, yet versatile violinist who specializes in a wide variety of genres including classical, rock, tango, and pop. In addition to acoustic violin, she also performs frequently as an electric violinist, with electronic backing tracks, creating an energetic and captivating performance. Originally from New Orleans, she has performed for hundreds of weddings, and was the principal violinist for the French Quarter Wedding Chapel for over 5 years. She has also served as concertmaster for three orchestras in the New Orleans area. Kristen has performed on stages across the country, from House of Blues New Orleans to Carnegie Hall in New York City. *Packages Available!* Classical Package - 30 minutes + ceremony of solo, acoustic violin with traditional wedding music. Pop/Rock Package - 30 minutes + ceremony of electric or acoustic violin with backing tracks and a selection of pop/rock music arrangements of songs by pop/rock artists such as Lady Gaga, John Legend, and Coldplay. Movie/Theme Package - 30 minutes + ceremony with electric or acoustic violin with backing tracks and a selection of movie soundtrack music arrangements. Choose from Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. I can create a fully customizable song list for your wedding or special event. Whether you are interested in a Disney or Star Wars themed wedding, Mozart for your cocktail hour, or an electric violin rock concert for your reception, I can accommodate whatever you have in mind for your special day! I am happy to collaborate with other musicians upon request.

Hire, hire, hire Kristen Monnik. She was a dream to work with. My daughter, the bride, was thrilled with the service, so therefore, so was I! Kristen worked with the bride and groom on special requests. The music was beautiful and the sound was enchantingly beautiful. Kristen, although I did not get to formally say goodbye since the family was taking pictures, I want to say "Thank You So Very Much." You were incredible to work with. You are so talented. I especially appreciated working with you on the processional. It was my honor to sing the song with your accompaniment. My sisters agreed, I had never sounded better. You are amazing.
