A classically trained violinist hailing from the West Side of Chicago, whose dynamic presence is demonstrated through her astute skill on the violin, WINDY INDIE has spent 17 years fine-tuning her skills on the violin. As a black-owned, consistent one-woman performer for the last seven years, Windy Indie provides a remarkable performance experience. Her performance includes a piece of state-of-the-art sound equipment, making the choice between live entertainment and a DJ so much easier! Through her work—a unique blend of Hip-Hop, Pop, Classical, and Folk music—she articulates her vision with a sharp musicality, composing fresh ideas for all demographics to widen their range of sound. Coming from a family of educators, WINDY INDIE is also a Violin Instructor and has taught in several schools and youth programs across Chicago.
