Latin Rock Exchange Dance Band from Portland, OR

Portland’s Latin Rock Exchange is a ten-piece band that plays Latin rock classics that we all know and love. Please check out our audio sampler to hear our live sound. We are not a traditional Latin salsa band. Instead, we play classic dance hits from Santana, War, Miami Sound Machine, Tito Purnte, Bublé, Barrabas, Yesca, The Buena Vista Social Club, Jobim, Bublé, a dash of Pink Martini and some contemporary hits, always with a Latin percussion flavor. High energy for every special event. Imagine Santana meets Pink Martini with electric guitar, bass, organ, piano, three percussionists, a three-piece horn section, and Alana our lead singer. So far, we have performed at Le Mays Auto Museum in Tacoma, and The Jack London Revue, Alberta Abbey, Atlantis Lounge, McMenamins White Eagle, The Alberta Street pub, and several other key local venues around Portland. We have also done a few shows in partnership with Son De Cuba, by far the best live Cuban band in town. We are especially looking forward to the spring and summer concerts and festivals, as well as wineries, casinos and resorts. We are an ideal party dance band for all ages, with members from around the world, eager to be your perfect entertainment for your special event. And all without any AI! An all guaranteed live human performance by Portland's newest ten-piece band. Produced, managed, and directed by Mark Giles, twice Grammy-nominated musician formerly with Brothers of the Baladi. Latin Rock Exchange aims to be a mix between Santana and Pink Martini with everything in between! Kyle Gemberling created most of the horn charts. Brantley Bacon produces our piano lead sheets. After two years in development, Latin Rock Exchange started booking private gigs in mid 2025. Our first private event here on The Bash was Le Mays Auto Museum in Tacoma in August 2025.
