Smooth Bossa Nova and playful Samba grooves create the sound of "Shelley and Salvo - Bossa Nova Group." With a mix of Brazilian and Latin styles, the group plays Jazz standards and original songs. Shelley is a vocalist who performed and toured internationally with world-class artists including Yo-Yo Ma and the Silkroad Ensemble, The Knights, Kronos Quartet, Simon Shaheen, Hassan Hakmoun among others. She has performed songs in over fifteen languages. Salvo has performed at many private events, festivals and concerts including "The Winter Concert Series" at Planting Fields, The Camellia Festival and the Make Music New York Festival.
