While we do have a hard grooving large band, Salsa Steel is usually hired as a steel drum duo. We perform throughout the United States. We are featured at Arizona State Fair, New Mexico State Fair and Expo, Pima and Yuma County Fairs, The Big Fresno Fair, Las Cruces Renaissance Fair, Big Fresno Fair, San Diego State Fair, Tillamook State Fair, Disney, Zoos, Wild Animal Parks, The Tijuana Cultural Arts Center, Georgia National Fair, major films, recording studios, libraries, orchestras, National Democratic and Republican conventions and more events than you want to read about here. BIO: Bill Harris received a masters degree from thr Chicago American Conservatory for the Arts in percussion performance. Bill received his Bachelors degree in music from Eastern Kentucky University. He sings, plays tenor pan, piano, vibes, marimba. He has played for the Chicago Symphony, recording studios, fairs, expos, film, is a song writer and well respected band leader. Stephanie studied music in Chicago, San Diego, Los Angles, and Washington. She is a singer and plays double second steel pan drums, oboe, English horn, bass oboe, historic woodwinds (shawms, flutes, Irish whistles) guitar and writes. She has played with San Diego Orchestras and Symphonies. She has written music and played for recording studios, fairs, festivals and film.
