They are a wonderfully talented group and I was very thankful to have them for my cocktail hour. During the process of planning, it was difficult. They were not strong in communication with me and there were last minute hiccups. I initially hired them for my ceremony and CH but we cancelled them for the ceremony because they were not comfortable learning some songs they initially said they could. Overal, they are wonderful and would be great for any occasion! Just give them the time they need to be there and let them do their thing and all will go great! My guests loved them!
Celticado means "Celtic Duo" in Gaelic. The duo performs a mixture of traditional and modern ceilidh dance music and song. Based in western MA, they are regular performers around town. Celticado is an all acoustic Celtic duo based in the Connecticut River Valley of western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. With fiddler Adam R Sweet and guitarist James Bunting, the duo specializes in performing delightful music for weddings, parties and more. In addition to Celtic music, the band can perform a mixture of bluegrass, acoustic country and western swing, klezmer, folk and world music. For an additional (small) fee, the duo can become a trio, a quartet or a large ensemble, offering a wider range of musical styles, instrumentation and performance opportunities such as Rehearsal Dinners, Jack and Jill's, Reception Dances, Soirees and Transitional Music and much more. Our bagpiper provides an additional traditional sound to add to any special or traditional event, and our DJ completes the evening with dance and party music for any scene.
