Northport Yacht Club has hired Papa Bavarian for their Oktoberfest Dinner for several years now. He wears lederhosen, plays the accordion, sings in German and strolls between the bar and the dining room. Papa Bavarian is very personable and it is very apparent that he enjoys entertaining. We will definitely hire him again.

We are so happy we had Papa Bavarian play at the cocktail hour of our wedding! One of the best decisions we made! All the guests loved it and so many people came up to us to say what a unique idea and how much they loved the music! It gave a more upbeat feel to the cocktail hour! Guests even asked for his information so that they can use him for future events! We highly recommend to everyone!! Thank you Papa Bavarian for a GREAT cocktail hour!!!

I would hire Papa Bavarian again. He is a talented musician, but best of all he feels comfortable amongst people. He roamed from the dining room to the bar and made our Oktoberfest terrific!

From the planning to the day of the wedding Papa Bavarian was wonderful! He was extremely accommodating and professional. Many of the guests were from France and LOVED the French accordion and his music selection. All of the guests enjoyed his playing ...his music created the perfect sound for a beautiful celebration! I would recommend Papa Bavarian to everyone!

Everyone enjoyed the accordion player very well. He did a great job with the French repertoire and many of the midwesterners present were privately requesting a bit of oom-pah as well.

Hiring a musician for our party was an issue we were unsure about, but now I can say with confidence that it was the best party investment we made. Josh was great and got the crowd going. He arrived early and had his equipment set up quickly and efficiently, the sound system was professional and the music was really authentic. Something about live music takes a party up to a new level. We had so much fun too, not just our guests. And the thank you's the next day all included something about how great the live music was. I would highly recommend Josh Cho for your event.

Josh was willing to work with my sister and I, who are amateur singers, to accompany us while we sang at our grandmother's funeral. We coordinated with him via email prior to the event. He sent us an MP3 recording so we could practice prior to the event. He was available for warm-up right before the event. We also hired him to play at the restaurant after the funeral. His reperatoire was appropriate for the venue and setting. He even accompanied our group as we sang happy birthday to one of our guests. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed his music, which uplifted us at our time of grief. Josh is a great guy and you can tell he enjoys his craft and he does it well.

Josh has a very rich tone;a beautiful voice. We had a small, informal birthday party and the guests really enjoyed his accordion and mandolin. Everyone had fun & some laughs with the sing-a-longs which helped the party come alive. Very professional & well-worth the cost. Would definitely re-hire this talented and charming singer/musician for all levels of entertainment: from small parties to big weddings.
