Our residents loved Steve's performance! It was during the Covid crisis that he performed; strolling outside around the perimeter of our CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community). Most of the residents stayed on their balconies and by their windows, while Steve strolled on the grounds. The residents were singing and dancing and had a delightful time! Definitely recommend Steve! Highly professional and very talented!

Steve was fantastic! We enjoyed his playing tremendously. He communicated clearly and professionally leading up to the event, he arrived on time in proper attire and did an excellent job of reading the room and pacing the music accordingly. We were fortunate to have a piano on site and Steve did a beautiful job behind the keys setting the tone for the cocktail hour and dinner. After dinner, the accordion came out and the party started! He had everyone up and dancing. We truly appreciate how his music made the party special. I strongly recommend Steve.

Steve's ability as both an accordionist and accompanist went beyond my expectations. He was extremely musical and was able to capture the juandre of music I was performing, which required a great deal of improvisation. His knowledge of music theory enabled him to changes keys for me thereby creating a more dramatic result in several of my songs. His background in playing Klezmer music is what attracted me to Steve. The Yiddish art songs I sing require that kind of skill of an accompanist. I highly recommend Steve Rice to meet any of your needs.

Steve was wonderful to deal with and we enjoyed his serenade. The event was quite short and I know that he had to drive a bit to get to it, but his price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire him again.
