It's like it was all meant to be! Dan Walker's relaxed presence and great music added such a personal feeling to our wedding. He even played solo during our ceremony, and did some light tunes during the cocktail hour. Then they cranked it up for the dance party and got people on their feet. Dan and his band are just cool guys that are relaxed and professional, and so it was a pleasure to have them around at our wedding amongst our other guests. Thanks again Dan it was the best party of our lives!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dan Walker and his band! I did NOT want a cheesy wedding band with strobe lights and terrible voices and song selections, Dan is NONE of those!! They are true musicians and incredibly talented. My guests were raving about him, and they still are! Everyone was dancing, people even commented that they've never seen so many people up and moving! He was great to just chill and listen to and to dance to! During our first dance, my husband said "wow, he's good!" I cannot recommend him highly enough, please feel confident in choosing Dan Walker!!!!

Dan was amazing! He sung a song I had asked him to learn from Sister Hazel "This Kind of Love" and had the entire wedding party misty! All of the guests loved the music, Dan's performance was exceptional, I just wish I had more time to sit and listen. I would highly recommend him and will be following his success! Thank you Dan.

Dan was phenomenal. His communication was prompt and thorough, he was highly professional, and, most importantly, his music was spectacular. We were envisioning not only something entertaining but also fun for a range of ages whether people wanted to dance or just listen. Dan absolutely delivered. What a wonderful time. Dan can accommodate all sorts of musical interests but he was also excellent at reading the crowd and keeping everyone entertained. During our first dance my wife whispered to me; "I think we picked a good musician." She was absolutely right. Hire Dan. You will absolutely not regret it.

Dan performed for our wedding ceremony and reception in Portsmouth, NH and put on an amazing show. He learned two songs just for our event and performed them beautifully. Dan's easy going nature made for a stress free planning process. We received so many compliments from our guests on his performance. He was also very accommodating with their song requests. Dan is a very talented musician and singer who we recommend highly for your wedding or any occasion. We are happy he plays locally in New Hampshire so we can continue to enjoy his music!

Dan was a highlight of our wedding day. He was very laid back, and felt like a part of the family who also happened to be preforming. After the ceremony, he surprised me by playing during dinner - and sounded amazing! A few times I thought he had put on a Jack Johnson or Pearl Jam CD, and looked up and saw that it was him playing guitar and singing. All of the musicians at the event raved about his talent. I highly, highly recommend Dan Walker and very look forward to hearing him play again in the future.

Even now, a month after the wedding, guests keep asking where they can go see Dan play!
We found Dan on Gigmasters and were intrigued by his excellent reviews--popped over to see him play in Maine (highly recommend)-had a nice chat during a set break-and decided to book him immediately. For two people who had no idea how to plan a wedding, Dan was the easiest decision (and possibly best) that we made.
Dan is equally talented and laid back. He provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and 2 dance sets at the reception--everyone loved it, us especially!. He's great--an easy choice.
Now if only our guests would stop asking for his tour schedule.

They sounded great but we were disappointed with the amount of breaks they took. We paid them to play from 4pm until 10pm with a 30 minute break, however it seemed like they were constantly taking another break and it definitely totaled more than 30 minutes. Also, they need to state how far in advance they need to receive the requested songs to be learned. Because we were not told in advance, we were not able to get any of those songs performed at our wedding.

Of course, I am completely disappointed with this review. We perform over 30 weddings a season and always bring the magic to such a special day. During this particular wedding, we were advised that the event planner/coordinator was in lead and all the breaks were determined by this point of contact. All bride and grooms are asked to send there song requests 2 months in advance. As well, we honored all requests by this client. I wish the bride and the groom all the best!

Perfect choice for our small laid back wedding. Dan was very accommodating with our song choices and special requests. The dance floor was full all night and everyone is still commenting how great the band was. Very organized and professional. Would recommend to everyone!

Dan played during our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. His music was amazing! We certainly enjoyed the band's music and we also received a ton of positive feedback from our guests! He is talented as well as responsive and organized. Dan was gracious enough to learn a new song for my processional and played it perfectly! Throughout the day the band was prompt, relaxed and pulled the entire thing off (including playing in 3 different settings) smoothly. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. The band had everyone happily dancing throughout the night!

Dan Walker and his band was awesome. Just nailed it. Start to finish. He and his 2 band mates drove from New Hampshire to Cape Cod on 4th of July weekend to go on stage perfectly on time at 3 in the afternoon of Saturday July 6th. Played for 4 hours and set the perfect summer vibe and rock'n roll jam for our backyard cookout of 200 family and friends. I would hire Dan again in a flash and would certainly recommend him to any and all who want their event to be accompanied by the perfect live music. So fun!! Bravo, Dan! Dan Walker exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a unique and original band that would fit in with our garden reception and they were awesome. The band members were all so talented and also very personable with the guests. Dan and his band also learned two songs just for the occasions and they were played brilliantly. He was just what I wanted. We had a ski trip for 31 families (138 people) with kids ranging from 1-19 years old. My memories of ski trips when I was younger had the nights ending at a bar with a great singer playing a guitar. Dan was awesome. He has a great voice and played music that everyone could sing along to while listening, talking, and just enjoying the night. I loved that families pulled up chairs and kids either sat or danced while listening. A great performer on a great night!
