Lindsay was phenomenal. She filled the chapel with the most beautiful music. Lindsay's music I believe contributed to highly charged emotional moment bringing everyone to tears when the bride walked in. Her voice is exquisite as is her guitar playing. She truly made the ceremony a special and memorable event. She is
also delightful to work with and very responsive to any questions, request or needs. I would use Lindsay again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding ceremony performance that is uniquely beautiful.

Lindsay Straw was an absolute pleasure to work with right from the beginning! She always made me feel completely at ease that the music for my wedding was going to be great and was incredibly accommodating, professional and prompt when answering questions. Her music was the perfect complement to our wedding ceremony and all of our guests raved about how fantastic she was - we continue to get phone calls and emails asking for her name because everyone loved her music so much. Her music felt like a lovingly chosen soundtrack and we were the stars of the movie of our wedding - it was everything we could wished for and more. I can't say enough about how great she is!

Lindsay was incredibly talented, professional and easy to work with. We had guests ranging from 82 to 15 years old and all of them commented on how they enjoyed her music. We ended up asking her to stay and play an additional two hours so we could sing and dance. Our only regret is that we live 300 miles away or we would truly become Lindsay groupies! Hire her TODAY!

Lindsay did a did a Fantastic job at our wedding and reception dinner!! All of our guests keep remarking on her singing a guitar skills now weeks after our big day!!
She was expertly profressional with emails and phone calls and her performance was truly amazing! Our wedding guests told me they felt bad talking amongst themselves at dinner because they really just wanted to listen to her music!!!

Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback, Melissa! I'm a little perplexed at the 3 stars given for accommodating special requests, as there were no specific songs requested. If there was anything you were disappointed with, it'd be great to know what it was. As I always do when I get inquiries, I asked what music you were interested in having played; with no detailed directions or specific songs requested, I played cover songs that I thought would be best suited to the crowd.
For what it's worth to future clients, I am happy to tailor the playlist based on your requests from my existing song list, as well as learn 1-2 new songs depending on the style.

Lindsay played at my wedding May 3, 2014. She was extremely professional and open to any requests I had. She even personalized a song for my husband and I, which was quite a hit at the church. At the end of the wedding everyone was raving about even the instrumentals she played before the ceremony began. I gave out Lindsay's contact information to many guest because everyone was so impressed with both her singing and guitar playing. I would 100% recommend Lindsay with not a single hesitation.

Lindsay not only was a beautiful singer and guitarist, but she was so warm and friendly. Every single interaction with her was a delight. We got married during a surprise snow storm (they said rain, but no we got 6" of snow), and she even stayed later than originally planned because we started later than planed. The wedding ceremony music was perfect, her timing flawless. All my guests complimented me on her playing during the cocktail hour too!

I can't express how grateful I am to have found such a beautiful singer to play for my wedding! My husband and I fell immediately in love with her voice after hearing "On Raglan Road" which she played. We also had her venture off of her song list to play "A Hundred Years" by Christina Perri. She was more than thrilled to play what I had in mind. Coming down the aisle she had arranged perfect timing. She blew me away, it was one of my favorite moments, and I'll never forget it! She was a pleasure to work with, professional, and responded quickly to emails always with sweet enthusiasm. Highly recommended!

Lindsay's music really took our ceremony to another level. Coming around the corner to walk down the aisle, hearing the first few notes of the song and then her beautiful voice transported me. I walked down the aisle with both of my parents and we were laughing and joking around while waiting. As soon as she started playing the song for us, something changed, we all had immediate tears in our eyes, it was time! That was one of the most amazing moments of my life, and her music as the soundtrack was a huge part of the feeling that I remember. She wrote me back immediately and was so friendly and enthusiastic, it just made me more exited to hire her.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly easy to work with before the event, putting up with our indecisiveness, making recommendations, and adjusting easily as our ideas changed. On the day of the event, she was there with plenty of time to set up, and we had no problems at all with her.
We absolutely adored her performance. She's an incredibly talented singer and guitarist. At one point, she performed my father's favorite song better than the original artist did! All our guests loved her, and really, I can't recommend her strongly enough.
