First of all this guy is a trooper, it was 92 blazing hot and humid and he was still amazing. I kept forgetting to bring a fan to him and he kept on singing. Second, his voice is like butter. Smooth. We were all entranced by his sound. I had so many wedding guest want to know who he was. It was too hot to dance so we just enjoyed listening. I didn't want him to leave. Third, he sang every song I asked him to. One song was 4 days notice. He sang some of his own music which I absolutely adored and other artist and his version was beautiful, lots of tears. Robert, we will be calling you back. I just hope you will come after we tortured you.

I am SO glad I went with the Robert Abernathy Band! We had a small beach wedding & he traveled all the way there from Birmingham for it! I only hired for two guys instead of a full band because of our guest count, but you never would have guessed there were only two playing! The music was AMAZING! They had every person there on the dance floor. He was so accommodating and played songs I requested that were not on his playlist. He gave me his personal number and always answered me quickly! All of my guests were so impressed with them (and so was I)! We will definitely be contacting them again if we ever need to throw another party!

Robert Abernathy Rock the House!!!! Originally planned on him playing on an outdoor deck overlooking the river, but about 3 songs in the weather didn't cooperate and it started raining. No need to worry, we took him indoors to a large lodge and went totally acoustic and raised the roof! Would definitely do it all over again and he became part of the family in a very short amount of time. Loved having him participate in the 9 family fish fry and it was on ALL NIGHT! Even Joe Exotic broke out of prison for the weekend just for the fun! Thanks again Robert!!!

Robert performed at my wedding ceremony and reception and he was amazing! He was always quick to respond to any questions and concerns of mine from the very beginning. He was very accommodating and professional and even offered to learn a few of my special requests! He truly made everyone's day. My husband and I got asked where we found him more than we were told congratulations! All of our vendors asked for his card so they could recommend him. He's seriously talented and great at what he does. He definitely gained a few more fans, and I know we'll be making some trips to any shows we can to see him again.

Robert did an amazing job at my wedding reception! He was always quick to respond to messages leading up to the big day, very professional, reasonably priced, but most of all extremely talented and kept everyone entertained! He even learned our first dance song, Bryan Adams, "Everything I do" and it was absolutely beautiful! I've probably watched the video a dozen times over the last few days. He slowed down Trace Adkins, "Just Fishing" for my dad and I, and it was such a memorable moment for us...I think we had the whole room in tears. Robert was great at feeling out the crowd and knowing when to keep it upbeat or play some slow songs. We couldn't have been happier!

I hired Robert for my wedding and could not be happier with my decision! He provided DJ and live entertainment, selected a great variety of songs and happily accepted requests. He arrived early and stayed late with a smile on his face. Robert was readily available throughout the months leading up to the wedding and was able to help officiant and ceremony musicians. He took care of everything! He truly made my wedding planning so stress-free and our night unforgettable!

Robert Abernathy (& Band) recently performed at our wedding & reception in Pensacola, FL. To say they were phenomenal would be an understatement! They are gifted not only musically, but have that special intuitiveness to know what to play when. They kept everyone on their feet all night dancing! Did I mention they recently put out a new CD? Incredible and a must have! Robert and the guys are "good people" and we just fell in love with them all. We all agreed, it will be well worth the road trip form Texas to Alabama to see them again, and again. Thank you guys for making our day even more special! You are the BEST!

We used Robert for our wedding ceremony and reception this past Labor Day weekend. He was awesome! He played acoustic for our ceremony music and also played acoustic and DJ music during our reception. He was very accommodating and prompt to respond to all my emails. He MC'd our reception as well and provided a hologram and lights for the dance floor. He even let me and my friends sing on stage with him! He was amazing and I would recommend him to anyone looking to book a singer or DJ for their event! I cant say enough great things about him!!

Robert was the hit of the party. My guests ages ranged from 6 months to 70 and his Southern charm, wide genre of songs, and beautiful voice made this 50th birthday party one me and my guests will always remember. Robert was very accommodating and let some of the younger crowd play dance music from their Smart Phones during a break. The owner of the restaurant came and listened to the last set and ask for his business card and so did my nieces who are in college and book events for their sororities. Outstanding and I can't wait to book him again!

He entertained our family from Miami and they all wanted to take him home. Got so many compliments on Robert!! Robert played at my husband's surprise 40th birthday party and to say he was a huge hit is an understatement. Robert was great to work with and made the planning process super easy for me. He sent me his play list beforehand and I loved that he knows a little bit of everything. We had people from 18 to 60+ at the party and he played an awesome mix of music that everyone really enjoyed. He took requests as well, which certainly made folks happy. I couldn't be more pleased with hiring him that evening and will definitely be looking for a reason to have him at another event in the future! Robert was awesome!

Let me begin by saying we could not have asked for a better all around performer than Robert...he is amazing! He was more than willing to learn songs for my ceremony and performed them excellently.
All of our family and friends raved on him and even went as far as stating that he personally "made" the reception/celebration. Lets just say, Robert was already being hired by a staff member at the reception to perform at her own wedding.
He is an excellent performer encompassing vocals, acoustic guitar and the personality to please a crowd. You will not be disappointed!

Robert was fantastic, our biggest compliments from the wedding guests was Roberts extraordinary talent. He exceeded my wife and I expectations which were already set extremely high. I am already looking for a reason to have Robert back at another event! He played a great variety of songs. He has a wonderful voice that is perfect for background music or as the main event. We all had so much fun with Robert! Our engagement party went from mingling at the beginning of the night to a dance party by the end and Robert was ready to accommodate. This was my first time to use GIGMasters. Robert was totally awesome. He was friendly, and a wonderful musician and singer.
My entire family and the entire wedding party loved him. They said they enjoyed his music better than the DJ we had for the actual wedding reception. I am so glad I found him on Gigmasters.

Robert was amazing! He went above and beyond for our wedding! He learned a new song for us, played tons of hit songs, talked with guests, and even hooked up his iPod at the end if the night for extra dance time. His equipment is awesome and I had several people say that it sounded like a full band was there with the great acoustics and microphone! My guests definitely noticed Robert and I had so many people tell me that. If you want someone who will do whatever it takes to make your event the best, book Robert!
