We ended up cancelling the event, but I strongly recommend Stephan Hume based on his sincerity. Stephan was considerate and understanding of our challenges when we cancelled which speaks to his character as a person. I would hire him again with no hesitation!

Stephan was great. He learned songs that I had chosen for the wedding and was a real trooper - when it started raining during the wedding, he kept playing. The only logistical problem was that we had him standing fault. I met with him a couple of times before the wedding and he really listened to "our" story. I highly recommend him for your wedding, or wedding reception. Thanks Stephan!!!

Stephan handled his last minute addition to our event with such professionalism. I had not fully determined whether we would be inside or out or if our electrical outside was sufficient, and I was busy with other details when he arrived. I pointed to a spot I had in mind for him and within a few minutes I could hear him warming up already without any direction from me. His playlist is very crowd pleasing, coasting seamlessly from Adele, to the Beatles to Snow Patrol that you can't believe it isn't an ipod, except that it's the awesomeness of live music. Stephan made our event much more memorable. I highly recommend him.

Stephan was AWESOME. Seriously. Everyone at our small mountain wedding commented on how freakishly talented he was and how great the music was. We were SO happy with him and would work with him again in a heart beat. Also, at the last minute we decided we wanted a DJ to get the dance party started at our reception and Stephan reached out to his network and found us an amazing DJ that rocked the house! Stephan played for our wedding this summer, and he was fantastic. Leading up to the wedding he was easy to communicate with, friendly, and more than willing and able to learn a couple new songs for us. On the wedding day he was professional, funny, and super friendly. He even was able to improvise on the quick when a couple things didn't go as planned during the ceremony. And on top of all, he is a fantastic musician and singer. He picked perfect songs to play, and was a great joy to have perform on my wedding day. 10/10, would highly recommend for parties and weddings.

Stephan was wonderful. We were so busy leading up to the wedding we were barely able to talk to each other at all, I didn't even communicate my final decisions to him before the ceremony! But he played perfectly and appropriately without any direction. I received numerous compliments about what a perfect addition he was to our outdoor wedding. He is very professional and talented - you can definitely trust him to play at your special events!

I hired Stephan because I really liked his performance at an event I previously attended. Stephan did an amazing job for us. He showed up a little early to rehearse with our singer for the wedding ceremony and played beyond his contracted time (paid of course, but he didn't have to). He agreed to learn a couple of songs that we requested with not a lot of time to do so, so we appreciated the extra effort. Our only request was we were ready to get the party started a little earlier with more up tempo music, but that was our wedding guests/group, they were ready to dance, but once I suggested it, Stephan was on it! Stephan was very talented, professional and accommodating. I felt he was overall satisfactory for my 30th bday party. My guests felt he was a nice addition to the party and thought he was most talented! I would recommend him for any event.

I am honored I got to play for your birthday party and that so many guests told me they thoroughly enjoyed the music. I am happy I was able to fulfill nearly all requests you and your guests had that evening, some not on my handout list. I often get 5 star reviews and while I strived to attain yours, I am aware that will not always be possible. There was a style of music I recall you requested, "50s Doo-Wop" as I was performing. In the future I will be sure to ask more clearly if there is another style or song choice not already listed on my extensive song list. Thank you again for having me there and recommending me. Stephan played the music for our wedding ceremony and reception, and he was phenomenal!! He was extremely professional, arrived earlier than expected, and overall was a joy to work with. He honored every single request I made as far as what songs to play and when, and his music was absolutely beautiful! He learned several songs especially for our wedding, and our guests were blown away by his talent. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking an acoustic guitarist for a special event...I promise you will not be disappointed! He was a big part of making our wedding so beautiful and memorable...truly a blessing!
