Kurt provided the music for our wedding, which was an intimate brunch for around 35 people. He was perfect for the event - he played for 4 hours and just filled the room with a subtle ambiance that didn't overwhelm but which was clearly present. His guitar playing and singing is spot on - he plays a rich variety of music that satisfies everyone, was willing to learn new music that we wanted (and performed it as if he'd been playing it forever), and most of all, is a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend him without a single hesitation, and would definitely use him again.

I hired Kurt to play at a local pub while I proposed to my girlfriend. He was super-accommodating in song selection and helped me think through how the whole thing would work. Last night I brought my girlfriend to the pub, and Kurt played several of her favorite love songs, while I went down on a knee and proposed. She said 'yes', and Kurt was absolutely awesome. We're planning on having Kurt play at our wedding reception.

Kurt was a great addition to my wedding!!!! He is very professional and talented. From the beginning, he was very responsive and extremely accommodating. Kurt was a true professional throughout the entire process of planning and playing at our wedding. He was super responsive to all emails and texts and always seemed 10 steps ahead with preparations. Kurt learned a new song for us and it was one of the highlights of our ceremony. He read our guests during the cocktail hour and knew the right songs to play. Kurt played and sang beautifully and is a true talent. A bunch of our guests commented on how great he sounded and asked where we found him. Above all, he was a nice guy and a pleasure to work with. Kurt was a pleasure to deal with and a consummate professional. He was in contact before the wedding to offer advice and input ideas, he learnt thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran and it was amazing, I only wish I had a CD of Kurt performing the tracks he performed at the wedding. All of our guests commented on how good he was and couldn't believe we were able to get such an amazing performer.
I would work with him again in a heartbeat and it was a privelidge to have him perform at our wedding.

If you need live music for your event, Kurt is your guy! Our guests could not stop talking about how talented he is, and exceptionally sounding his performance was! His communication with us was not only timely, but accommodating throughout the entire process. Kurt sang and played guitar during cocktail hour of our wedding. I had never used a site like this before to book talent and was a bit nervous but Kurt was extremely professional and responsive throughout the entire process and really put us at ease. Kurt understood exactly the 'vibe' we were going for, both the guitar and his voice were perfect, and the songs he chose to play fit perfectly with the tone of the event without being too overpowering.
We highly recommend working with Kurt, planning a wedding isn't easy but working with talented, professional people make it much easier!

We hired Kurt for an outdoor ceremony in Central Park and cannot recommend him highly enough! From the very start he put our minds at ease with quick replies to our mails, and on the day performed brilliantly, learning a new song for us and playing for longer than originally planned due to the (slightly) late arrival of the bride! He helped make the day that bit more special and so huge thanks from us.

From the first moment I emailed Kurt regarding my wedding, he was extremely friendly, helpful and professional.
He was eager to learn the 2 new songs I had asked him to perform at my ceremony and he even provided me with copies of both songs before the wedding day to check that I was happy with his arrangements, which of course I was.
His performance of 'our song' for the first dance was magical. His voice conveyed the emotion and his guitar playing was suberb.
Overall I cannot rate Kurt highly enough and I would recommend him to any bride looking for something special on their wedding day. I know he certainly brought the magic to mine!

Kurt played the music for my wedding ceremony. I couldn't be happier with my experience with him. Besides being a talented musician, he's been such a professional, accommodating, responsive and helpful during the planning process. He went above and beyond by playing extra songs as my guests were seated. He learned a song at my husband and I's request and sent it to us to listen to prior to the wedding. He was at the venue early and dressed nicely. Several of my guests came up to me after to ask how I found him and comment on how great he was. I would HIGHLY recommend him for anyone looking for a musician for their event.

I originally contacted Kurt and notified him that I was looking for a musician,and asked if he could play a song for a surprise proposal I was planning in Central Park.From the first email conversation to the day leading up to the surprise proposal,Kurt was so easy to communicate and not once did he make me have any doubt in my mind.He was very open to any ideas or questions I had every time we spoke and it was great that we both had the same ideas for the surprise proposal.His performance the day of the proposal was perfect and on point.I would strongly recommend Kurt to anyone looking for a talented musician. Kurt sang at our wedding ceremony yesterday and one of the first things we wanted to do is write a review because we are so happy.
From the booking through the planning to the day of the ceremony Kurt kept in great communication, was very willing to work with our requests, went out of his way to understand and provide exactly what we were looking for.
Kurt learned two new songs for our ceremony - all we had to do was tell him the songs and he sang them perfectly. He also played and sang other songs as guests were arriving and set a great tone.
And he is an all around nice and kind guy to work with.
You can totally trust Kurt to do a great job!
