Birthday Party (Adult)•Reviewed on February 3, 2025•From Greenwich, CT

Kurt performed acoustic guitar for our 50th birthday party during the cocktail hour and dinner, then transitioned to DJ services. Kurt was extremely professional from start to finish. He was always responsive to emails leading up to the event and arrived on time. Kurt is a very talented musician and also kept the music at the perfect volume. He was very happy to play from a list of songs we requested off his website. When it came time for the DJ part of the night, Kurt was willing to allow our guests to use his microphone to sing. All of our guests were on the dance floor having a blast. Don't delay, book Kurt for your next event!

Corporate Function•Reviewed on January 14, 2025•From New York City, NY

Kurt was the best! He had all of his own equipment and while we struggled to find a good power source, he helped find a solution. He performed for 4 straight hours and sounded great the whole time! He was also very friendly and created a great vibe for our event. I would definitely hire Kurt again for future events in NYC.

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on July 31, 2024•From Basking Ridge, NJ

We hired Kurt to play guitar at our wedding May 31st and he did not disappoint in the slightest. We ask him to play our song, a Bob Seger tune called, "Blame it on the Moon" and he nailed it, a song he had to learn. He plays the guitar beautifully and his voice is remarkable. Would hire him again without doubt should we need like services. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Baby Shower•Reviewed on June 5, 2024•From Staten Island, NY

Kurt Borst was an amazing addition to our daughter’s Baby Shower!! We were skeptical at first as we had never used The Bash website to hire a musician. We were more than pleasantly surprised when he arrived early and began playing while we were still setting up. His guitar playing, voice, and choice of music was right on point! Eeryone loved his music and singing! He was awesome!!!! Can’t say enough great things about him! He was icing on the cake for us! Thank you!!

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on May 30, 2024•From Hackettstown, NJ

We found Kurt Borst on The Bash because we wanted live entertainment for our cocktail hour for our wedding.. And let me tell you... he did NOT disappoint! Communication was clear and easy throughout the process (we had booked about 8 months in advance) and talked about a month before the wedding. He came on time and we told him the vibes/song choices from his list and he thoroughly delivered. Guests came up to me raving about his songs and voice. If we didn't have a church ceremony, I would have wanted to book him for that too! 10/10 recommend again and again.

Wedding Reception•Reviewed on April 29, 2024•From Rye, NY

Kurt was one of the best parts of my wedding reception. He was the first, and after listening to his music, only musician I looked at on The Bash. From the first email exchange, he was responsive, kind, professional, and friendly. He has a huge collection of songs he can play, and works with you on other songs you want incorporated into your event. He set up quickly and seamlessly, played outdoors at our cocktail hour, and transitioned inside for our main reception. Kurt was so generous with his time, even staying past our contracted time to wind down the event. EVERYONE raved about his music and asked where I found him. He was simply outstanding. Book him!

Wedding•Reviewed on April 29, 2024•From Wantagh, NY

Kurt is an absolute gem of a guitarist! His talent and skill added an unforgettable touch to our special 2-day event! He is incredibly accommodating, communicative and also has an intuitive sense of what music sets the perfect mood. Kurt went out of his way to ensure that every song we wanted was flawlessly executed. If you're seeking a guitarist who not only plays beautifully but also listens and delivers exactly what you envision, Kurt is your guy! Kurt went above and beyond by walking out onto the beach to play our song for our first dance. His willingness to go the extra mile made our wedding day even more special. We would highly recommend Kurt to anyone!
