Opening soon but taking bookings now, The Glasshouse is another party venue for a large scale event. On the Lower East Side, the Angel Orensanz Center was originally built as a synagogue and is now a landmarked art and performance space. The spectacular venue is ideal for both a mitzvah ceremony and party. The main floor can fit up to 250 seated guests or 300 for a more informal reception, and the balcony can accommodate another 200 people.

The Rose Ballroom at Terrace on the Park, 52 -11 111th Street, Flushing Meadows Park

You’ll probably love the Tribeca 360. The loft-style space features white walls, high ceilings, large windows and exposed pillars— it can easily be transformed to fit any theme. The room covers 15,000 square feet and can seat up to 325 guests. There’s also their massive outdoor rooftop space that can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Manhattan Penthouse on Fifth Avenue, 80 Fifth Ave at 14th St, New York

The Manhattan Penthouse is the ideal place for a chic, trendy sweet sixteen or major birthday bash. It’s definitely one of the more expensive options on this list, but you get what you pay for. Inside you’ll find ornate chandeliers, Palladian accents, and arch-shaped windows (you can outfit it however you want). It’s 6,000 square feet and can fit up to 200 guests.

With its views of the Midtown skyline, amazing architecture and open layout inside of Central Park, the Central Park Zoo is a dream location for a mitzvah. With numerous tenting setups, the central garden and A/V and lighting options, this location can accommodate upwards of 700 guests for cocktails and a seated dinner. They offer lots of extras like a sea lion feeding demo, the penguin exhibit, and the tropics exhibit, as well as optional upgrades, so there are lots of things to see and do, too!
