Jimmy was very accommodating to our requests and his playing of Scotland the Brave gave us the strength to march forward during these trying times.
I would recommend Jimmy to play the bagpipes for any WWII vet that trained with the Scottish Brigade.

Jimmy was professional, courteous, and was very responsive regarding communication. Everyone raved on about his piping and my husband was very surprised and excited. Jimmy arrived early and played through the beginning of the reception and as my husband and I entered the reception. Would recommend to anyone and soo happy I chose Jimmy for my wedding day music!

Jimmy Mitchell was AMAZING! He was prompt with coorespondance and played the songs we requested. This was a surprise to my groom and all of our guests, so he warmed up IN HIS CAR! His talent is above and beyond what I expected. He even waited while we took our family photos and piped us out of the church after all the guests had left. I will pass his name along again and again. Thanks again for making our day so wonderful!!! Such a beautiful ending to our perfect ceremony.

Jimmy was very proffessional and kept contact before the event to confirm the time and requests. He showed up early to discuss what other needs were requested and cordinate with the other participants in the event. He was clean, pressed, and kilted, performed excellently, and was kind and gracious. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jimmy played beautifully at my father's memorial service. Everyone at the service was so touched and wanted to know how they could get in touch with Jimmy so he could play at their upcoming events. About six months ago, I contacted a local piper in order to engage him for my daughter's wedding. I was told that some of my selections were not possible on the Great Highland pipes. I was so disappointed, and decided to look at other avenues. I discovered Jimmy through a Google search. I emailed him and received a prompt reply. He emailed me mp3 files of him playing our selections and we contracted him. He arrived on time, welcomed the Cathedral's requests, and proceeded to make our wedding celebration so special. He was WONDERFUL in every way!!! Don't hesitate to bring him in for your occasion as he is the quintessential professional.

What a great performance at my Navy Retirement Ceremony. Jimmy listened to my ideas and song requests and played them all, including an amazing rendition of Anchors Aweigh.
Having the bagpipes at events is a tradition in my family since my parents came from Scotland. We couldn't have been more blessed to have such a wonderful musician celebrate this special day with us. Thank you again Jimmy!

Myself and all my family and friends just loved Jimmy.
He arrived promptly, played every request he was asked to play.
We were sorry when it was time for him to leave.
He made my Granddaughters Graduation Party very special.

Jimmy was very accommodating as we attempted to finalize plans for my father's funeral at Ft Sam cemetary in San Antonio, He was on time, performed perfectly and was very easy to deal with. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to hear him play. An ultimate professional that I would highly recommend and will keep as reference for future events.
