I was sorry I couldn't quite remember "Galway Bay" for them on the pipes, so I sang it instead!Review by Sue D.

Yes, I guess I do deserve that "4" on this one. After 90 minute drive to the Jersey Shore in an air conditioned car, I jumped out into high beach temperatures and humidity and began immediately playing for a birthday surprise! No time to retune the reeds or get them use to the climate change! But I had a delightful time, nonetheless!Review by Michael K.

I was happy to fly from Philadelphia to Atlanta to play for Mr. Kane's corporate party. It turned out the venue was too small and crowded to play many tunes inside, so I ended up playing out on the deck in sub-freezing weather, with the doors closed and the sound of the pipes having to filter through the glass. It was not the best use of the pipes, and I do not recommend outdoor playing at such low temperatures. I did greatly appreciate Mr. Kane's friendliness, enthusiasm, and generosity.Review by Jacob M.

I was honored to play for Jessie Winn's Grandfather, on less than 24 hours' notice and driving for over two hours from Philadelphia to inside the Washington Beltway to do so, on Veteran's Day. I played When the Battle's O'er, Dark Isle, and Amazing Grace. And when a member of the family made the special request, Danny Boy. Several family members thanked me for my playing, and remarked favorably. I was given a 20% tip. It felt like the overall reaction was somewhat more favorable than this feeback suggests, and I regret that Jessie was not more pleased with my playing.Review by Rose K.

Yes, I had been nursing along a favorite chanter reed, and it truly did give out during the performance. I'm now busily breaking in a new reed for St. Patty's Day!Review by Cynthia B.
