Owen was magnificent! His music was great, and every one of our guests loved it! One guest had attended another event recently and Owen provided the music for that gathering as well. She mentioned how thrilled she was to see him again providing the music for our daughter’s wedding reception. She knew we were in for a real treat! Thank you Owen!

Owen did a great job at my husband's 40th Birthday party. Professional to work with. On-time and pre-party process was thorough. Engaged the crowd well. Played Jimmy Buffet as requested but added alot of old an new party favorites to get the crowd singing. Worked with my schedule to roast my husband and sing happy birthday. I would recommend him for any event.

Owem's music was one of the best parts of our wedding. Many small things went wrong with the wedding, but we forgot all of the bad stuff when Owen started playing his music and singing. What a voice!!! I can't believe he is not booked a year in advance. All of the guests kept asking how we had found him and telling is how great he was. I was so impressed with his professionalism and overall talent! Thanks Gigmaster and thanks Owen for making it a memorable day!!!

Owen's great personality and musical talents provided a beautiful atmosphere for my daughter's wedding. My new son-in-law is also a musician and he was quite impressed with Owen's accomplishments. It is not just his musical talent that he brings to the celebration. He also has the abiltiy to reach out to the guest and ensure that everyone has a fun time. We had a small dinner reception following our wedding and Owen was perfect. He definitely tunes in to the "feel" of your event and adjusts his music selections accordingly.
We didn't give him any music lists, but he noted the song we walked down the aisle to and included it in his repertoire. Additionally, my husband made an impromptu request for a song that isn't well-known. Owen knew it and blew us away with his rendition.
You absolutely can not go wrong hiring this professional for your event - whatever that event may be. In fact, we are trying to find a reason to have another party just so we can bring Owen back!!

We had Owen play for our wedding and reception. My wife and I could not have been more pleased than we were with his performance. He played a nice variety of songs that everyone at our wedding enjoyed. Any event that we have in the future,he will be the first person we call.I would reccomend Owen Poteat for any event that you may be planning.

Owen Poteat was the catalyst that made my daughter's wedding her dream come true. His professionalism, his talent, his flexibility are all top notch. But it his spirit, that "thing" that makes you want to hug him the first time you see him, that creates an atmosphere of celebration, spontaneity, and involvement. We dealt with two days of rain for a beach wedding - by the time Owen arrived on Saturday, I was digging deep to unravel Plan B (or C?). He quickly came in, assessed, suggested things I had not even thought of - and it worked!!! I am happy to recommend him for any event where you want everyone to have fun, relax, and have the party of your dreams.

It is almost a month after our wedding and we are still hearing from guests about how much they loved Owen's music!
Owen is such a kind individual and he was so invested in our event. His lively music and cheery personality kept the dancefloor packed all night!

Owen entertained for our sons rehearsal dinner. Words cannot describe the talent this man has. Our guests were so fascinated by his performance that many indicated they would love to travel to one of his shows to see and hear him again. Many sought out the opportunity just to meet him personally and talk with him. We felt we had known him all of our life. Owen was on time and provided exactly [above and beyond] what he said he would do. His smile actually lit up the room ! He was accompanied by his wife, Lynn. Both were so gracious and friendly. Owen did a fantastic job at our wedding. My friends are still talking about how awesome he was and they're even planning an event to get him back down here! The setlist was perfect for our reception. The acoustic feel was perfect for wedding guests, but Owen surely managed to keep the energy going when the crowd got on the dance floor. He was super nice and fun to have at our event.

Owen was very easy to work with and extremely flexible especially since we hired him at the last minute. He was friendly and is very talented and I would hire him to do another event if I had the chance. And his range of musical knowledge would make him great for anything. From what I can remember of that crazy wedding day, the music sounded great! And of course we got tons of compliments from all those guests who were paying more attention then I was!

Owen was, without a doubt, GREAT. I had people coming up to me and asking me where I found him and who he was. Owen's work speaks volumes in itself. He was very accommodating w/our wedding. Owen was already booked for that afternoon and graciously agreed to perform at our wedding. He has a great talent for understanding the mood of the moment and catering the song to fit that mood. Owen actually deserves all 6s for his feedback. Should the need arise again I would have no doubt to try to book Owen again. We would like to thank Owen for making a special day even better!!!!
