Kevin Grace was fantastic! I contacted him late for a funeral service and he was very accommodating and willing to provide what I needed. He spoke to me by phone several times before the event to determine what I was looking for and to confirm prior to the event, which helped ease our minds during all of our planning. He arrived to the location early and was onsite when the family arrived. His presence made the entire event very moving and heart warming. I would highly recommend Kevin Grace for any event. My deepest gratitude to Kevin for making our gathering so much more than it would have been without him.

What an amazing experience! We had a bunch of time/date changes and Kevin was very understanding and was able to fit us in at the last minute! Then it just kept getting better from there! He came in playing and there was a huge smile on everyone's face!! He was friendly and stood for pics and just made the whole afternoon better! We will be talking about him for years! I'm so happy! The music was beautiful but he was unprofessional. I hired him to play at the start/end of ceremony. He quoted me $275-4:00-4:30. When I spoke to him he said that $275 was his price/hour and he would charge me $200. My daughter heard him say it as we were on bluetooth. At the wedding my planner gave him $200. He was rude to her. He played 2 songs in my opinion, out of spite. The wedding did start late. I feel he could have played during the time I hired him. After the wedding we gave him the $75. I wasn't trying jip anyone. Both my daughter and I heard him say $200. In retrospect, I should have had that in writing. Nevertheless I paid $275 for 2 songs.

So if I took 200 then went looking for the rest,it would be a mess I asked Nicky to go to someone and please get the rest of the money and then I would accept it.

We chose Kevin for my Mom's memorial luncheon. Kevin was on time and even early. He was dressed appropriately. He piped outside the restaurant for a period of time and then came in an played Amazing Grace in the room. I would definitely use Kevin again if needed.

Did everything he could to accommodate this event with talent and professionalism of a bagpipe playing New York City firefighter. Requested a receipt and have not yet gotten one. Arrived saying he was sick and may have had a health crisis the day before. Played only beginnings of songs to "greet" guests, then never finished the song- no continuous music. Arrived at 11:30- Played 12:15 to 1:15. Very tough to get him to play full songs... lots of quiet space. However, very personable and made a great suggestion for the ceremony that we so appreciated.

My mom threw a surprise birthday party for my dad's 70th recently. Since he is of Scottish descent, we thought it would be nice to have a Scottish themed party. Mom interviewed a few bagpipers and decided Kevin was the best. He showed up on time, but as it goes with surprise birthdays, dad was late, and Kevin had to stay about 30 mins or so longer than agreed upon. He was extremely accommodating, gave us no impression that he was anything but happy to help us. When it came the time to play, his musicianship and knowledge of songs was excellent. At one point, my dad started to cry! We were so happy to have him with us. Wonderful to talk to, wonderful to hear play.
