We had a late, last minute request for a whacky idea and Matt was more than amenable. It all worked out wonderfully and the huge surprise was in fact a huge surprise. It was pleasant to work with Matt as he was very responsive, ready and able. Can't wait for the next excuse to hire Matt.

Matt was responsive to all my emails and helped us figure out what music we wanted for our wedding. He arrived early and played as guests gathered, during the ceremony, and following the ceremony. Several guests who had spoken with him commented on his professionalism. I would highly recommend Bay State Pipers to any potential bride and groom!

I recently had Bay State Pipers play at my sons wedding. They arrived promptly and they knew exactly where to stand at the chapel, to create the nicest effect. They arranged to play 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after the service, when the guests were moving in and out of the chapel. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a piper for an event. Even though it was all arranged through email, I had no concerns that it was all going to occur as promised. Thank you for helping me bring some of my Scottish heritage to our wedding. Matthew Phelps was a very pleasant person to work with. He was enthusiastic about performing at our Domestic Violence Silent Witness event. He arrived on time and was very accommodating; he was willing to do whatever we asked him to do. He socialized with the parishioners before and after our event. It was a pleasure having him perform at our event and his presence added to our special evening.
