Dark Isle Piper is awesome in every way. Friendly, professional, so willing to help in any way she can. She played at a funeral for our family and we couldn't be more pleased with her and her music. If you are interested in hiring a bagpiper, I would definitely recommend the Dark Isle Piper.

The Datk Isle Piper was the absolute perfect choice for my husband’s celebration of life. He would have loved her! She was professional yet personable and kind. I feel like we have gained a new friend to our family. Her instinct was amazing. She found the perfect spot to play as our guests arrived. Her “pipe greeting” set the tone for a wonderful tribute to him. I could not recommend her more highly.

Tress, the Dark Isle Piper, was wonderful. Her performance at the end of my mother's gravesite service was hauntingly beautiful and the most memorable of the day. Amazing Grace and other selections lent the perfect air of dignity to the occasion, and Tress herself was compassionate, delightful and great to work with. Tress played at our outdoor wedding ceremony in June and was fantastic! Leading up to the wedding, she had great suggestions, was communicative and patient (wedding planning can be busy...), and sent us recordings of various songs ahead of time. The day of the wedding, she was professional, easy going, and played beautifully. It was a special feeling, walking down the aisle to bagpipes... All our guests kept telling us how they got chills while she was playing and how lovely it was. Plus, everyone thought it was so cool to see a female piper! We cannot recommend Tress enough. She added a unique element to our wedding and we were so happy with her! Thank you, Tress!

Tress is a fabulous bagpiper that has a great deal of knowledge to share about Scotland, with humor as well.
She was great to work with from start to finish - from working out the logistics (playing time, location), she showed up early to set up, and provided a perfect performance for our Scottish themed donor event. All were truly impressed.

She was so awesome! She was very sweet and helpful, and she even helped us present a bit. She answered questions and was a great speaker. Tress was great! I had a special request for a suprise serenade of my Valentine. She made suggestions to make the surprise even better than what I had thought up and went out of her way to help me make ancillary arrangements. A wonderful piper who brought a little bit of Scotland to my Valentine's heart. Highly recommended.
