I can’t say enough about Duncan’s patience and solemn performance. The church service lasted much longer than expected. It was a very cold afternoon by the time we exited the church and walked across the street to the burial site. Duncan placed himself in just the right places throughout the ceremony. Mark’s Wife, Son, and Daughter, told me numerous times that they knew Mark was smiling down on all of us as he loved the Bagpipes. As we all walked from the gravesite Duncan placed himself on the hill, with the Church in the background. Everyone was touched by the calming sound of the bagpipes. Duncan was extremely professional and a very positive asset on a sad day.

What a wonderful closure to the celebration of my mother’s 94 years of life! Duncan was professional, easy to work with, and came prepared to deliver the two songs that my mother loved whilst alive. He played Amazing Grace and Danny Boy. We were all moved to tears as he masterfully brought to life the essence of what it means to connect the soul to the bagpipes. If only she were alive to hear….but surely that day the heavens opened up to receive Duncan’s gift to the living and dead.

Can’t recommend Duncan enough. Hired him to lead a processional for a graduation with only one graduate. He was prompt, professional, and also down to be silly with us when requested. One thing I really appreciated was a pre-gig phone call where he asked about the vibe, any music preferences, went over our meeting place and route, and gave a little background on his approach and resume.
Seriously 10/10, create an occasion in your life that requires bagpipes, then hire Duncan to play them.

We hired Duncan to play our ceremony music for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and helped us select the pieces. He was very professional and had an obvious high level of experience when it came to playing weddings. I work in the theatre industry and have a musical theatre background and have worked with several musicians of all sorts and Duncan is extremely talented, our guests (which included several musicians) loved it!

Duncan is absolutely amazing! He is the consummate professional and his performance was the highlight at my husband’s graveside service. Everyone loved his mouth-dropping performance, attire, and song selections. It was the first time many attendees had ever heard a real piper and they were throughly impressed. I highly recommend Duncan for any occasion in need of a piper.

This is the second time we have used Duncan, and as always, he is great to work with. He arrives early, communicates often, plays awesome! and helped with picking out the right music for our Father's funeral. When he played the one song my Father very much wanted, Amazing Grace, there was not a dry eye in the Church. Absolutely, highly recommend Duncan for any occasion!

Duncan was a delight to work with. The service went over but he was flexible and went with the flow. Everyone loved his playing. My dad was a big bagpipe fan. He would have loved it!
